Performing with 4 decks: detailed guidelines

Can I use four Remotes with one Receiver?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to use one Phase Receiver with four decks simultaneously, even if you own the Ultimate edition. This is due to the fact that Phase only has two audio outputs.

It is hence impossible to use one Phase Receiver with four turntables simultaneously.

How can I perform with Phase using 4 decks?

You can use Phase to control 4 decks at the same time, but the only way to do so is to use two Receivers, and four RemotesTo do so, you'll need to plug both Phases with the RCA cables to your 4 deck DVS interface.

If you are using Serato DJ Pro, you can also control one Phase in WIR mode (deck 1 and 2 only) and the decks 3 and 4 in REL mode (with RCAs). In this setup, to avoid disruptions with the first Phase (the one operating in WIR mode), you'll need to plug the second Phase (the one working in REL mode) to an external power source, and not to your laptop. Indeed, 2 Phases plugged on the same laptop will not work correctly in WIR mode.

Each receiver is working on an individual frequency range and they won't disrupt each other, but don't hesitate to run a pairing on both units before performing with this setup to reassign the best radio channels for your environment.
